|corey2491||Mine was simply the steering stabilizer. The old one was shot. Replaced it and wobble is gone.... for now....|

|papax||I just fixed mine and it was a combination of steering stabilizer, drag link adjuster stripped out and pitman arm tie rod end toast. Its not always one thing|

Death Wobble is ... well... there are just so many words to describe it that the language filter would prolly over heat and burn itself out.
Putting a double steering stabilizer may mask the problem to some degree, but it will not fix it.
The FIRST thing I would do is to rotate your tires and see if it changes. Sometimes, tires being out of balance can cause this.
Next, have someone help you. Climb under the Jeep and have someone inside very gently just rock the steering wheel back and forth Not a whole wide sweep, just a little so that it kind of goes past slack then starts to get firm. Have them do that while you go under the Jeep and look at ALL of the joints. Ball joints in particular on your tie rod & track bar. If the joints move up and down even in the slightest, they are suspect.
This is a TJ, but will give you an idea of what I'm talking about.

Need some advice about a pretty intense shimmy
I have 37 inch tires and at first i didnt think that it would cost me thousands in the long run but when ever i keep a constant speed of 35 mph my steering wheel shakes so hard that i have to pull over just to gain control again. I have been told to get a double steering stabilizer but I have also heard that those dont help too much. what could fix this?
