Problem seems to be not when it gets full and spits, it won't fill without cutting off from the beginning. I talked to her Dad tonight and he was extremely easy, starting by hand below the lowest auto point and it still took him 15 mins to fill it. Still sounds to me like a kink. I also told him to find another dealership.

I'm betting it isn't.

Ageless Stranger Do you think you can drop the tank yourself Mike? Is it as easy to get to as our Wranglers?

Jeep fueling problem.. ( Compass )

Compass ( 2007 ). It will not take fuel. It has taken 30 mins before to fill tank. Dealership has check venting, for kinks, etc.....now says tank needs to be replaced at a mere 1000.00 dollars. I haven't looked at it, but thought I would throw it out to see if anyone might have a starting point. I seem not to trust um..um... Dealerships.
