justin_brown Most ofthe people that need a lift have a tj or older... With the jk ... It had higher fenders... So you can fit them and we can't... Your fenders are equivalent to us putting the high fender kit on or Jeeps

peaty11 hey! i am new to the jeep world. I have a 2011 Wrangler sahara unlimited and am wanting to put 33" tires on. I went into a shop today and the guy helping me said i could put 33" tires on it without having to lift the jeep. He said 33 inch tires is the max size i could go without putting a lift on the jeep. Is this true? im seeing alot of people posting about what type of lifts they should get with 33" tires. If someone could clear this up i would really appreciate it. Thanks

I have Goodyear Duratracs and it fits perfect on the tailgate, I have heard people say it damages it but I have yet to see any abnormal wear after a year. When I upgrade to bigger tires I will get a new rear bumper with oversize tire carrier attached. I'm from East Central Indiana close to Ball State University. I go to IU all the time to see buddies that go to school there, a great place!

I couldn't be any happier with my skyjacker 4in. sport lift, I run 33x12.50
s on mine with 15x8 rims and 5x4.5 backspacing.

You could get a cheap 2" budget boost and bump stop the heck out of it for awhile.

I don't think so! If your wheels had enough back spacing to not rub on the control arms, you might rip off your fender over the first bump in the road.

suicideking I have a JKU, but am also getting a 2.5" lift soon. The strong contenders are the Rock Krawler 2.5" max travel and Teraflex 2.5".

howd u decide on the skyjacker with all the other lifts out there all claiming to be the best, i want to go with quality and dont want problems after a couple months...
I had read a lot of good reviews for the skyjacker and I had liked the brand even before the reviews, great price and quality parts It rides amazing compared to the old stock suspension. If you go with skyjacker lift get the hydro shocks, the nitro's are too stiff I have heard which becomes a very uncomfortable ride for the Jeep.

Also check out this link this will help you decide which lift and tire combo you are looking for...
