|Dangl3r||So the combo that the OP installed…15” MB72s and 33” Duratracs fits on a stock JKU with no suspension work or shaving of calipers? What about the 15" level 8 Trackers? Can that be done or is a leveling kit needed at the very least?|

|Discount Tire||Assuming your Wrangler is 2007+, I've seen people run 35's with 2" of lift but it took some fender trimming and a few other modifications. A 34" tire could work as well but it will also require some modifications.|

Rancho 2" lift with 9000xl shocks will work for 33" duratracs? Can i have 34" tires with this lift?

Also, tires do have a shelf life. Tire manufacturer's deem tires that are 10 years old to be unsafe for use.
If you plan on buying wheels and tires from one of our stores we may be able to offer you some money for them in trade. I've also seen a number of people sell their stock wheels and tires on Craigslist, ebay and in the classifieds here.

Thank you for awesome pics and comments.
How do you guys handle the stock tires and rims after replacing? Sell them craighslist or a local tire shop? or save them in your garage?
If we need to buy another Wrangler after 5-10 years, can we still use current 15" rims? If yes, I think we need to save them in garage to trade-in.

|CDBillet13||I have a friend who runs 31-10.50 his tj. According to him that is the biggest tire a tj could run without a lift.|
|02-28-2014 09:32 PM|
|CSAND74||You can run up to a 33" tire with no lift, you could get some rub if you take it off road. As far as for spacers it would depend on the backspace on your wheels. You want at least 4.5" of backspacing, with a R 15 chances are your OK but check to make sure.|

PM on the way.
As for 16's Vs. 17's. If you think you'll want to go larger than a 35" tire someday go with the 17's. There's a lot more 37" tires for 17" wheels so if you go with a 17" the first time you won't have to buy new wheels in the future. If you don't plan to go any larger than a 35" tire, 16's are awesome. Most 16" wheels have nice 8.5" widths and there is a good selection of tires for in 35" for 16" wheels as well.

So I just pulled the trigger on the 15'' MB TKO -19 with the Goodyear DT 33s. Bought them at my local Discount Tire.
The salesman seemed to not think the 15'' would fit my 2011 JK unlimited rubi. These will fit correct?

|WebDevDan||Could someone roll a 33x12.5R15 wheel/tire up next to, in front of, etc. a stock sport 255/75R17 wheel/tire and snap a few photos? I just want to see the actual factual difference between the two unloaded height-wise.|

|murphp87||Received my setup from Discount Tire Direct last week. Put in my order Wed night and received them by Friday Night. Top notch service and I could not be happier with the purchase. Have some before and after pictures and of course I had to get them dirty the next day!!|
