Justin-Beams Thanks for posting your concern argocooper!

GT500 is correct. Our installation instructions are referring to connecting both ends of the same belt to one bolt. In the case of the YJ's, Jeep designed the rear buckles to connect to one bracket on one bolt. You should always use the original hardware when available. The rear seat buckles on that double bracket need a grade 8 or greater bolt.

We are always happy to help if you have installation or other questions.

Please feel free to contact me at if you need further information.

BDK I am pretty sure all YJs have just the one mounting hole in the rear for the female ends. Just double check your re enforcement plate on the underside of the Jeep, tighten the shit outta them and loctite the bolt.

GT500 I just installed a third seatbelt from into the back of my TJ. Had to drop the tank to get extra holes. However, when it says:

it is talking about connecting BOTH ends of the SAME belt to the same hole. You should be fine install the female ends for both seatbelts on the one hole in the center.

VeroJoe Yes. Only one hole on my 92. You should be fine putting them together. Make sure is very tight. Hopefully you bought retractable belts or else they will be flapping all over the place with the wind.

88muddog As far as the rear seat there is only one bolt one hole to fasten the female portion of the seat belts.Take a look at my Jeep profile and you can see where they are bolted down.

Rear seat belts in 94 yj??

Greetings to forum and I have a question about installing seat belts in a 94 YJ...rear seat. I recently bought the jeep and found it had no rear seat belts. I just purchased the three-point belts from 4wd. com. The only instructions say not to anchor two belts to one bolt under any circumstances. For anyone more familiar than me with this process, theres only one friggen' hole to mount the female ends! Im not sure if its just a joke or if Im missing something! Any help is appreciated. PS...I bought two because I have two kids so installing only one is not an option! Thanks in advance for any help!!
