JDsDream Welcome to the Forum

As an ex-rider myself, you are going to love a Wrangler. When topless and doorless it's the next best thing to 2 wheel freedom.

XJ Knight I know I did the little write up in your other thread.. But will add since I see you said 95-99 that the 1995 was the last year of the YJ and in 97 the wrangler went to the TJ design which lasted through 2006

Vroooom You're in the right place to meet folks.
Find some in your area and offer them a 6-pack of their preferred beverage if they'll take you for a ride.
Odds are, they'll be proud enough to do it without compensation.
Best way to make an informed decision....try it out.

Need advice

I am interested in buying a wrangler as a 2nd car. I use my motorcycle as my DD. I love the way wranglers look, i always turn my head everytime i see one. I live in san diego so it will mainly be used to drive on roads/highways but i will take it a little off roading when i can. But obviously no rock climbing or anything. So, basically it'll be pampered. I am been doing a little bit of research, and im interested in a 95-99 I6 with manual tranny so far. I am just looking for other opinions from wrangler owners since i have never owned nor driven one before. Any advice will help. Thanks
