Well mine is a 2000 Sahara and I got it 1 year ago with 98k miles in a very very good conditions and I paid like $ 9000, no leaks brand new all terrain tires ,A/C, 4.0 5 spd etc etc. and no problems with it exept for the Winshield wiper motor like you.Some times work some times not.(I will replace it $89 @ NAPA)
Still a good deal $6000 for what you r looking.

|kg4kpg||That's less than I got my 2000 4 banger for and I had a few small issues to work out too. Not sure about your wiper problem, maybe just a loose connection somewhere. 6000 doesn't sound bad at all.|

Hey, King of Beers, the low range selling price for what you're looking at is about $9,000 according to the NADA Guide for used cars. Even considering the stuff you'll have to fix up, it still sounds to me like it's a good deal. The resale on Jeep Wranglers is fairly high. I sold my '01 TJ on late '04 and the value was $11,000 at that time for a 4 cyl - 5 speed with 90,000. Sounds like a plan. Hope this helps.

|King of Beers||
Buying a 00 TJ.
Im real excited about buying a jeep in about 2 weeks. (My first Paycheck) How does $6000 for a 2000 6cyl Wrangler with most of the Sahara options, Hard top and 101,000 on the odo sound? It does have a little rust on the under carrage, the radiator leaks (slowly), needs new tires, Wind shield wiper problem, the left turn signal is cracked, and there is a little dent to the fender where the turn signal is. It was well maintained but has sat for a while. Tell me what you think! And does anyone have any idea about the wipers? They only work sometimes and when they do they seem a little sluggish. Ill try to post pics this weekend.
