|lowridinpontiac||The jeep is stock at this moment and will be under going many changes, such as 350 V8 with th350 trans. I primarily bought the jeep for sand dunes and a spare daily driver, not too much rock crawling. But the way it sounds i may be heading toward the rubicon express.|

|2002TJX||i would stick to the 4.5 RE and just run some 33's that way, i dont think your turdy five will hold up to 36's for that long. But it also just depends on what kind of offroading you do as well, rocks, mud, sand??? i am not sure or is it going to be a pavement princess|

That being said you don't necessarily need a long arm kit to run 35's or 36's but you will need to adjust your bumpstops accordingly and possibly trim or alter you fenders for clearance.
How's the rest of your Jeep setup? Axles? Gears? 35's and 36's are a lot of meat for a stock drivetrain to handle.
Also, which Iroks are you looking at? Bias or radial? The bias Iroks measure 36.8 inches and my radial Iroks measure just a hair over 36 inches.

Well Scout as i said it being the most complete lift kit on the web is the reason why i bought it. At that time i couldnt find any deals on RE either. After all 900 bucks for the basic 3.5" re kit that comes with springs, shocks tcase drop kit and rear tbar relocation bracket seemed a bit like a ripoff.
Well at least it was some good experience since i installed it my self. Now at least i know what to look for in the future. Only if i had a welder, lol.

RE hands down. Also unless you have d44s, sye and cv, you might want to look for something smaller than 6" suspension lift kit and 36s
yes very stiff (springs and shocks), their control arms suk.
Stiff springs = very hard flexing + stiff ride
stiff shocks = stiff ride
crappy control arm bushings = bad flexing
The reason why i bought mine is its the most complete kit on the market by far for the price however it sucks badly.

Rough Country 6in X-series lift
Does anyone have the RC 6 inch X-series lift installed on their jeep? If so how do you like it? I have a 99 TJ I want to run 35's or possibly 36 IROKs. I can't decide on the rough country or the rubicon express 4.5 super flex? Any Suggestions and possible pictures of these setups?
