Could use a hand...will offer beer and pizza!

Hey there. I am new at WF, so hello everyone. I really need a hand figuring out an issue, and fixing an issue with my 2003 Rubicon. Without getting too involved in the history, she runs great but after some shoddy (or potentially sabotage) mechanic work, I have a whinning sound coming from what seems to be the rear end. It only happens when I accelerate on the gas pedal and is most noticeable around 30 - 40mph. I actually had the mechanic I am suspect of tear the rear end apart a bit to look at the bearings and he said they were fine. None the less, I am not the most mechanical Jeep owner in Denver, but could really use a hand if anyone is interested. My wife and I just had a baby so I got a Jeep Grand Cherokee, so I am unfortunately selling the Rubicon. Before I do, though, I need to figure out what is wrong with it and fix it. I'm not sure what I can afford at this point for payment, but beer and pizza will at least spark someone's interest! If anyone can offer any help or insight...without getting too techie since I'm not a mechanic...I would greatly appreciate it!
