amerijeep yeah, I like bigjeeps wheels too, I had those wheels on my 4X4 Ram I had 10 years ago or so. I swapped the truck off, but I wish I had kept those wheels. Only reason I didn't was I got my Dakota 4 Wheel and it had Aluminum TJ wheels on it that looked sweet on it.

mrbigjeep ya its a very good deal...best bang for the buck...blu has one on his rubicon and i believe he really likes it...yeah it should fit an lj...as the coils and control arms are the same and so should everything else (someone correct me if i'm wrong)...hey (JeepGuyLJ) nah i don't have a lift and yeah those are 32's...i don't rub at all on the street and when i'm flexed with one side on a curb i still have at least an inch or 2 of clearance...and offroad i don't rub either (as long as its mud)...now that you've seen my jeep pic, just wondering but how do you think it looks? i think it looks good but i always like to see if other people think so too or if it's just me and i like to know there opinions

JeepGuyLJ yeah i was looking at rough country website and i saw a 4" lift for a 05 tj 4" Series II Kit Price: $529.00 looks like a really good price dont you think. now im thinking of going with the rough country 4" lift for a little more. and the tj lift will fit a lj right. Hey (Bigjeep) i saw your jeep pic and was wondering if u had a lift on cause it seems that you aleast have 32's on right.

As far as your previous list goes not all Springs spacers that clamin they are 2" really measure out to 1.75. But it seems that the Rubicon Express does. For me personally I would go with the Rock Krawler setup. I know them I know their products, I have several friends that run them (I don't only becuase I was dumb and didn't know who and what I know now when I put my LA on.).

If you want to go with the RK setup (which includes longer sway bar links which you will need) let me know and I will hook you up with a guy here locally than can get it ordered for you.
my bad...i thought they were a part of rough country because they were listed on the rough country site and they had their lifts for sale but i guess not...but i've also heard good things of them

hardy1531 I have recent'y put the RE BB on my 03 TJ. I really like the way it looks. It was very simple to install. I did install a new rusty's offroad trac bar and a skyjacker steering stabilizer. I thought for the price it was a good compromise. Many of the local 4x4 clubs here recomended RE. Either way I think you will be happy

mrbigjeep that sounds pretty cool...but remember if you go up to 4" you might get some vibes...if you get them i would still set them at
2"

WranglerHawg If you are willing to spend a little bit more money on those spacers, my buddy found a set that are adjustable, they are about 225 a pair, but they adjust from 1.5" all the way to 4". I dont know how good they are or where to find them, but if you were interested, i could find the link for you.

Rubicon Express.

Coil Spring Spacers 1.75" 2
Bump Stops 1.5" Rear TJ 1
Doetsch Tech DT3 Shocks - Set of 4 1

does that look right its the rubiconexpress lift it does come with the shocks that a plus but it say its a 2" but coil spacers say 1.75 and rear bump stops 1.5 is that about right, are all of the 2" lifts like this. here the website if you guys dont mind checking it out its the budget boost one. cause its going to be my frist lift and i dont want to go wrong. the thing i dont get is why the rear has bump stops but not the coil spacers. I hope i can do this at home dont have to spend more money on the installtion.

mrbigjeep yeah the jeep with the 2" lift looked pretty high...i think your jeep will look sweet with the 2" lift...and its cheap too! i can't wait to see the pics!
08-14-2006 10:44 PM
JeepGuyLJ Oh yeah that makes it better. I think now for sure ill go with the 2" cause i dont really see a big difference in the way they both look the 2" looked pretty high and i dont have a big budget to get like a 3.5" thats almost going to look like the same hight as the 2" lift. i really like the way the 2" looked it had alot more clerence then stock. I really appreciate all your guys help ill post some pics up when i get the lift you guys take care.

A stupid question.

Ok i know this kind of a stupid question but here it goes. I was wondering if any of you guy had any pictuers with a jeep lj or a tj with a 3.5" lift and 2" lift i want to see what they look like. im really haveing a hard time figureing out on what kind of lift to get. my one problem is that i would go with the 2" lift but i want to see that my jeep looks higher than stock thats why i looking a the 3.5" lift. thank you.
