Mike5087 No they don't because they see you tube videos of the 10%(+/-) of people who don't even know what tread lightly is, and put us all in the same category.

denisbaldwin Don't they realize how seriously that most Jeepers take Tread Lightly?

like buying a pocket bike in MI, its too fast to be considered a "toy" too small to be a "scooter" so its not allowed on either sidewalk or street. Legally you can't drive them unless you just so happened to have a track on private property.
**at least thats what the cop told me after a brisk chase

Utah will never agree to this. I am sure they have a TON of revenue from wheelers. Furthermore, I've been to Moab a number of times, including the town. If they outlaw enough stuff, the town will go bust.

Reading the article I also see an interesting fact...NJ started this, so hopefully others will follow...

3 Bills coming to congress

A USA today article concerning off roading and an ex-WF member/moderator is interviewed as well:

"If those proposals become law, motorized vehicles would be barred from lands in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
