ddking Body Armor Mid-Stubby and skid plate. Had to fab some brackets to mount the factory fogs.

It looks naked without a winch and aux lighting but that's temporary.

I thought I just saw this one yesterday, but I was mistaken. What I saw was very similar though. It was a Nemesis Industries Odyssey Front Bumper. Seems pretty nice, and I like the lights in the stubby. I prefer full width bumpers myself.

Man, I like the (lack of) fenders. The mini flares look good!

Bobes I've seen that before ^^ i think its an aev full width that was chopped and made into a stubby. I don't remember if it was this or another forum but i've seen it. Maybe a google search?

I love that look.

About $2,000 for the bumper and winch combo. Fogs are hooked up. The bumper comes with wiring to extend the stock harness so its really easy.

Rock Hard 4X4 Aluminum Front Bumper Pt 2

More details.... 6: Factory Fog lights. Holes are perfectly spaced from the factory and self tapping screws provided. This is the right light assembly. The top inner plastic mount attachment ear had to be trimmed about 1/8" due to close fit against the bumper at that point. easily done with tin snips or a utility knife. 7: Solidly welded support gussets lock in the winch plate. 8: The bumper bolt spacers. Lower bolt clearly show both in use. 9: Bumper awaiting the winch. to be installed at a later date.

I'm very pleased to have this bumper. Rock Hard 4X4 isn't a name we see in the forum when bumpers are mentioned but is worthy of consideration in my opinion.

Rock Hard 4X4 Aluminum Front Bumper Pt 1

Simple install and weight was 37.2 lbs....... exactly the same as the factory bumper and hooks on my '14 JKUR. Fair deal from Rick at Quadratec and great customer service from James at Rock Hard 4X4!

Pics: 1: Excellent packing. Thoroughly locked against movement in the box and clearance from each box wall. No scuffs or scratches. 2: Vacuum pump rotated and attached with Rock Hard kit. Approx 1/8" clearance from tube on top and sway bar at bottom. More than 1/2" space is between the winch plate and the pump. Even with only the 1-3/8" spacer there is some clearance at this point. No contact/rattles. Instructions mentioned bending the mount bracket if needed for equal clearance and I did easily. 3: Top view of the winch well and the solidly welded in plate. 4: 4" winch well depth to the plate. 5: 8" from the front bumper top edge to the grille. This is adjustable. Primary bumper mount bolt spacer is 1-3/8' long and an additional 1/2" spacer is provided for those wanting more space for some winches. I have both installed for the picture.

I just went through these 35 pages and saw few if any tube bumpers. Just personal taste or is there something I need to know about say, this?

Is the absence of recovery rings something I'll regret? Is this recovery unfriendly? Other pitfalls?

You know what they say.... If it sounds too good to be true, it is.

I'd love the JCR, but between the bumper, winch plate, powder coat it becomes a $900 event.

Was on the fence, but after seeing yours I think I will go with the Vanguard. Just hope it will bounce the Deer off of it.

I had no idea you were still waiting for your refund! I know we worked to get you a replacement that ended up being damaged and we got it returned for a refund, but I didn't know this was still dragging on. In the future please PM me with these issues. There is no way you should have had to wait that long.

The damage has been to the finish from the boxes blowing out and the unprotected bumpers being drug on the ground in shipping. It's an issue we've been working through for a while now. The good news is that you won't experience any of those circumstances once the bumper is installed!

I totally agree that a new product should come free of defects but it is what it is, you get what you pay for. But honestly in the end I can say that it looks great and seems to be as well built as many of the $1,000+ bumpers I've seen. The other plus is the install is very simple and you can use the stock fogs without any re-wiring. I probably sound biased but I tend to be a stickler for quality and I'm very happy with mine regardless of price. But if the scuffs are going to bug you then it totally makes sense to look elsewhere. On a side note, to their credit extreme terrain customer service has been a pleasure to work with when I've needed to.
I'm happy to hear that you've enjoyed your experience with our customer service but I wish you didn't have to interact with us do to shipping damage! Please let me know if there is anything at all I can do for you.
