Mattiday The address is just to a local national park office or something like that not the actual place.

Mattiday Directions: Take GA 52 east from Chatsworth about 1 mile. Turn right onto the Old Federal Road and go 4 miles. Turn left at the Peeples Lake/Rock Creek Trail directional sign onto Forest Service Road 3 and travel 5.9 miles to the trailhead parking lot.
You just need to get up there to chatsworth.. It is pretty easier from there.. And it's all completely legal! I know 100%

burton861 yeah, directions would be great. and the address too. Do you know if it is legal?

Mattiday Hey there's this really good place up near chatsworth it was a blast and your wrangler could definitely handle it. I had to turn back because it started to rain. I couldn't tell how far we got but it was a good hour or two. So I don't know how much of it I haven't done, but it was looking pretty fun. Big mud pits to dive through, and some really fun terrain. No rock crawling or anything. But it was still a blast. There's the main trail head which was a bust. But the trails that split off the main dirt road were great. If you want the directions I'll post them just ask.

lifted01 I have talked to one of the land owners beside the trail and he swim it is legal as long as you stay on the main trail and not in the private property. The people that was fine was probably something else cause teenagers have partys by the lake at night. And if you go to seneymudbogg.com it will have all the info and when and where. It is family oriented so the kids can come too

burton861 are you sure this is true? Ive heard that before, that its a state road and you just have to stay on the main trail. But last weekend I was there and talking to some people who said they have seen people be fined $300

also could you give me more info about that place outside rockmart? any info, address or forums about it?
thanks!

JDsDream Depending on where you are, there are a couple of nice places within reach and reason. Check out the following link to legal rides. You should also check out a few of the local clubs. Ga Trail Riders is a good one that has events scheduled often and always cater to new-comers. North Ga Jeepers is another.

lifted01 Sweetwater is not illegal as long as you stay on the main trail cause it is wma land but the trails that go off of it is private property and when you get to the end don't drive in the water cause you will get fine for doing that. I live in cartersville and we go out there all the time. There is also a place outside rockmart called seney and they have mud boggs all the time

Atlanta Jeeps- Legal rides

hey guys im new to this forum,
looking for rides as close to atlanta as possible, that are legal. Ive been to sweetwater in canton before but after some research I think its probably illegal and I would rather not get a big fine. anywhere within 1-1.5 hours of atlanta would be great!
a little bit about myself, I've got some experience mudding, and even more experience riding along observing everything I can! Ive sort of inherited a jeep from my brother that we have both put countless hours of work on.
-steel bumpers
-2' lift
-35' Mickey Thompsons
-1200 pound warn powerhouse
-home-made grill guard

please post with legal trails, ride info, and if you wanna ride sometime!
