JDsDream Welcome to the Forum

I'm "kinda short" as well. One of the first additions to my Jeep were the Rampage step rails. Easy install (no drilling necessary). I would also recommend grab handles.

MrSig Welcome and enjoy the forum! It is not a car! Some Rock rails work great as steps.

alexjbuck Do rails work well for stepping up? I've never really seen them other than pictures and they sometimes seem kind of small.

jsmithtx Welcome. My wife is kinda short too. Going to install a 2.5" lift and she is worried about getting in. It's her daily driver. Had some Westin rails on my last Chevy. Might consider them again if she needs them. Better than running boards.

Howdy

Hey everyone,

I'm a recent Wrangler owner (got my new 2012 Wrangler Sport S in October) and I live in the Boston area for school (Naval Officer / Grad Student).

I'm joined this forum to learn about all the different accessories (bull bars, running boards, etc...) out there. I usually try to do this stuff on my own but I felt like I was missing something in my google searches, I didn't seem to find a great selection anywhere.

So I'm here to read and ask some questions, and hopefully learn something in the process to make my Wrangler even more sweet than it is.

So finally, some questions. My wife is kinda short and sometimes has trouble getting up in the car so we're looking for some good running boards but don't necessarily like the plastic look of the Mopar running boards. Anyone have suggestions for another good company to get quality running boards from?

Also I'd like to get a beefier looking front bumper, something like a bull bar or a grill guard. Any suggestions on good places to look at for quality pieces?

Thanks again
