kbwwolf Installed my new ORH soft top last week. On Weds, it was 31║ here (very mild for WI), so I decided to run without one of the bikinis and the windows, just for the hell of it. Not too bad, with the nuclear Jeep heater.

Soon as we start getting 50║s, that bad boy's coming off till Fall. Took maybe 5 minutes to remove the windows and rear bikini (no frame to mess with).

I don't even own a hard top.

HardSilverTJ yeah I don't mind the noise really, it's just kinda a b*tch getting it on and off..

Pirateover50 Sold my hardtop after I got the Jeep. Got the Sunrider top and love it. Heater can run you out, not too noisy. It's a Jeep! Tire humming wind flapping, radio up loud, Jeep! Love every minute of it.

HardSilverTJ My soft top is the most difficult thing about my Jeep, I'm going to get a bikini top in the summer.

I8up I dont even own a hardtop...Softtop only, which imo makes the jeep more sexy...I got new Duratracs put on my Jeep and a friend asked if they were noisy on the highway, i answered, nope i cant hardly hear them over the wind hitting the soft top...I said this as a good thang and you can tell he just did not get it. I love my bumpy, loud, crappy stock stereo ride...Takes me back to my first love (CJ7)

98tj.steven I already took down the hardtop. But wish I had a soft or bikini top... Just riding around topless everywhere!

HardSilverTJ don't get me wrong the fabric is tight, and the sound isnt really floppy its like a little vibration i guess..

Jeep_Gypsy Mine doesn't get floppy at 45 and it is a bit noisy but I don't think I'll get back to a hardtop anytime in the foreseeable future.

The fastest I've had it with the soft top so far is 45...but it did start to get a little floppy on top like a flag in the wind...but as far as wind noise, it wasn't bad at all. But yes I like my hardtop better, but its starting to get pretty nice down here in Florida already so I'm going to be putting the top down soon..

Chrispy Ah..... only like 4 or 5 more months till I can take the top down. Love the soft top, winter or summer,

Owen_TJ i love my soft top compred to my hardtop...

i have fewer leaks (virtually none) with my trektop nx vs quite a few with my old hardtop...

plus by selling my hardtop i made like 600 bucks extra even after buying the new trektop!

First Day with a Soft Top

Silly me takes off the hard top last night and puts on a rickety softop that has been sewn together once already...and of course NW Florida gots buckets of rain dumped on it today...but to my surprise only a few drops of water on the inside..

Very Pleased..
