Slightly too rich for my blood. Well, more than slightly. Let's baby step to 33's and a RE 3.5 long arm lift, bumpers, and winch. Well, that's my goal. Just need to get this thing running PERFECT before I add any extras. Hoping to have her ready by Spring/Summer with lift. Now, with that said, if anyone is doing any winter runs, lemme know

If you need work done Orange County is great, I met that dude at Ocean City Jeep week really nice guy, and Kyle from "Dip This Lift That" is Awesome!

Dorsilfin Hey All! How goes the fall/winter? I had a successful hunting season and am gearing up for christmas and am looking to buy myself something for the jeep.

I saw a thread in the JK forum about LED light bars and Kinda want to give them a whirl since well.. having huge light at night on back roads would be awesome.

The lights in question

Amazon.com: Eyourlife 300W 30000LM Led Off Road Light Bar Flood Spot Combo Beam- 100pcs*3w high intensity LEDS: Automotive

and a mount like this

Amazon.com: Xtreme® 2007 - 2014 Jeep Wrangler JK 50" - 52" LED Work Light bar Steel Metal Upper Windshield Mounting Brackets With Windshield Hinge Lower Corner Brackets: Automotive

with the two lower mount locations for future expansion.

I've got plenty of zipcode wire from other projects outside the Jeep so ill just pickup a rocker switch and run a line inside somewhere in the cabin.

Has anyone ran or actually done a light bar on their JK? I'm seriously considering giving it a try cause I figure for under 300 bucks I've got a serious light bar and I've wasted more on less lol

The reason you don't talk about fight club is so people who are against fight club don't hear you talking about it. That way fight club doesn't get ruined and we can continue fight club.

local15Rob Usually, what the lift cost is mirrored by installation. Dollar for dollar. Except for the really high priced ones. Some shops have a set rate
11-23-2014 09:09 AM
MikD I dont know what the going rate for a lift install is but anybody who is going to stand behind their work probably wont be the cheapest guy around. I used to do that stuff for free, lifts, clutches, etc but not anymore, once its free people treat you as such.

Just pictures. he showed me a bunch of pics of that build. Check out his facebook page too. I think it speaks for itself. Variety of work that he does and it all looks solid. His shop is super clean and I think that says a lot about someone who works on vehicles. Anyway, I'd say check the place out. I can give a full review when I get the frame work done on my 2000 tj.

Orange County Jeep Works is pretty solid. Getting a bunch of stuff done there in about a week. Pretty cool guy as well.

MikD First negative thing I've heard in 5yrs with that one. Wonder why he wanted that much??

ZoranZ Aren't rules of the forum to not discuss stuff like that? I thought people get banned for that? I mentioned a similar thing a while back and received some nasty grams from some moderators saying only legal offroad use allowed. It's just a public forum and people probably want it to stick around.
