Michigunman Those tires are just about .5" wider and taller than my 265/70 17's. I have a 2" lift and pretty sure I have enough room for that .5". My wheels are 17x8 with 4.5 inches of back spacing.

Hope that helps.

What size lift should i do?

I have an 06' largely stock, with the exception of some custom bumpers

My boss gave me a brand new set of 285/70/17 tires the other day. I'm going to pick up some new 17" rims, but i'm not sure what to get (i know the lug spacing etc, but what about backspacing etc.). I am also certain ill have to do a lift, but how far will i need to go? is 2" enough to clear the new wheels and tires?

This is still my daily, so i dont want to make it too uncomfortable. i dont do too much off-roading, just the typical weekend stuff with my buddies...

any help would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks!
