4Jeepn I always just left mine, that way if I need to move the carrier to another jeep I could just hook everything back up again.

EAD Offroad Just go to your local Loews or Home Depot. In the section where they have all the bolts and stuff in little draws you will find rubber stoppers for that type of thing. Cost is like 50 cents.

Filling a hole for the bump stops?

Recently installed the Rock Hard rear bumper and tire carrier. The spare tire is no longer attached to the tailgate, so I no longer need the bump stops. Want to remove them, but need ideas on what to fill the bump stop holes with. Does anyone have ideas? Appreciate the help.
