Where to find good data on 4.2 block rebuild

(I have a 90 yj I6) Hey wtf I have both a chiltons and a haynes and I'm in the process of rebuilding my 4.2 I6 from the bottom up. For example both books failed to show where to set the thrust bearing. Obviously critical info both books are very limited on details for a complete engine rebuild. Is there any concise info on line or a better book without having to buy a shop manual? Or better yet can someone paste a link or article w/ real info. Any help would be appreciated since I want to build a complete engine myself.
