|steve_m||Just check to make sure you haven't left it in 4wd. On dry pavement this will cause very unstable handling when turning. It will also cause rapid wear on tires and drivetrain components.|

|AustinJeff||I have an `08 6-speed manual and I don't have the problem with the steering that you mentioned. I do feel a "rattle" feeling in the steering wheel when I turn left and hit bumps. I think it's something that came loose when I hit some big bumps going too fast. It doesn't feel unstable though. It feels more like a bolt is loose.|

Can't say I've had either of these issues. Bought an 08 "X" in November/2007. (Manual Tranny).

Problems in my 08 jeep
I wonder if any one had the same problems in his/her 08 jeep???!!!!
The first problem is when I turn the steering less than 45 degrees to the left I hear a ticking noise in the steering and on the accelerator and brake pedal and it feels that the car becomes unstable!!
The second problem is that when the transmission shifts from 2nd to 3rd gear it creates a shock sound in the whole car!!!!
when I took the car to the agent he said that many wranglers suffers from this problem and they are trying to fix it and that the second problem is not really a problem because the gear box was designed like that for off-road performance.
I own 2008 Wrangler Sahara with Automatic transmission 5,750 miles on it.
I would like to receive your feedback on that
