When they were coming off some of the bolts broke so I was just trying to find the easiest way to get them back on

Rolf Why not just use normal bolts with wing nuts?

I myself don't mind the plastic blocks that much but wingnuts should work well.

Russ06 i just put finder flares on my jeep and i would not use self tapping screws the blocks are not that bad to hold just have to take or pull down the finder well a little and if self tapping come out auto flat

Quick question on fender flare install

Ok so I just picked up some bushwacker fender flares. I'm wondering if using a little bigger size of like self tapper screw instead of those ones with the annoying backs. Have anyone does this before? Will they with hold the fender in higher speeds?
