I'd suggest dropping the bolt going through the track bar and frame mount. Then stick just the bolt through the hole and see what is going on. That looks very similar to the RE1600 track bar which has a notorious reputation for being a bunk piece. Can you figure out the diameter of the bolt? If the bolt is smaller than the open diameter of the frame bracket then you will never get it tight and there will be different options for fixing your problem.

|MR.CLIFFORD||Take a picture of the track bar. Almost every other manufacturer has a different idea of how it should be installed. Without knowing which track bar you have there is no good way to tell you how to fix it.|

hollow out track bar?
hey guys I notice my front track has play in it. I have to use a smaller bolt to screw it into the frame where the bar's end fitting goes.. well with the smaller bolt the end fitting moves slightly back and forth no matter how hard I tighten.
Should I use the right size bolt for the end fitting and drill a larger hole into the frame or is there a better way to do this?
Is there a sleeve I can buy to fit into the fitting?
I dont know what brand the track bar is.. its black..
