dave@rokmen Hi-jack warning ----- wife worked in the fire protection industry(designing and managing) for quit some time, even spent time in the field hanging pipe. My father in-law is a life'r in the fire protection industry. One of the best connected persons I've ever seen in the industry.

Back on track....

Shipping to Germany - You'll need to use a freight forwarder, or establish a shipping account that we will then ship against. This way you are the importer of record.

rthdtj I've had my since 04' & really dont remember what brand they are but..when I installed them I ran a bead of black RVT silicone around the edges & bolt holes just to keep the grime out from between them & the body. Good luck, Oh, I also bought the sliders with horizontal rub bars vs the angled ones because they offered a better step. I'll shut up now....... later
02-28-2008 08:15 PM
orange05tj I don't have a highlift jack, not sure. I would think so.
02-28-2008 08:07 PM
nicolas-eric at the side is only 1 bolt. hereīs the manual:
http://www.quadratec.com/Assets/Installation/31162.pdf

are the rock hard sliders strong enough to use them with a hilift to lift the TJ?
02-28-2008 07:51 PM
orange05tj After looking at the Olympics, it says they require no drilling, just bolt up. Sounds weak to me. Whats holding the sides up?
02-28-2008 07:49 PM
orange05tj Heres a pic of the spacers that are on the bottom. It says to drill up and use the provided hardware.

02-28-2008 07:44 PM
nicolas-eric sorry i meant the frame and not the body...

are they really that heavy? then i hope that the shipping costs to germany arenīt to expensive for me...

are thy bolted directly to the frame? or do i have to put some plastic or vinyl between them?
Not sure if they are stronger, but they are 3/16" steel plate and weigh alot. The UPS man almost broke his back carrying the box. I put one up to the Jeep and the spacers on the bottom are on the body, not the frame. I'm guessing that I drill through the floor and use the 2" bolts and nylock washers that came with them. I'll know more this weekend. Seems pretty easy to do.

whiteyj I have the PSC's on my YJ. Once I got over the 18 week wait they were great. Bolt to the tub plus the tie into the body mount. You sandwich it in and cut 3/16 off the body bushing. They aren't going anywhere.
02-28-2008 07:25 PM
orange05tj I got these ones for the price
02-28-2008 07:21 PM
nicolas-eric so many different products. and i donīt know how to make my decision...
02-28-2008 07:18 PM
orange05tj those are the ones I got. Northridge4x4 had free shipping. I'll post pics this weekend. Still waiting for the UPS man to finish his deliveries here.

the olympics dont look strong at all
02-28-2008 07:14 PM
nicolas-eric the olympics are only mounted with 3 bolts. i donīt think that they are really strong.

@orange05tj:
could you please take some pics when you install your rocker guards? are these the same? http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.as...6&partID=14317
02-28-2008 07:10 PM

what brand?
02-28-2008 07:06 PM
nicolas-eric @orange05tj:

i looks like you have to drill into the frame when you install them. the olympics look like them, but for them you donīt have to drill.
the PSCs are bigger and cover the body to the frame under the jeep.
