Jma20a do a search, there are a few threads talking about adding sub(s) and keeping them out of view.

need advise for bass

I have a 2000 sahara and my head unit is a alpine with 5.25" db polk speakers up front and 6.5 db polk speakers in the soundbar. Now I just need some bass, I really like my insta trunk and so could I get something that really sounds good to fit in there. I was looking at Rockford Fosgate R300-10 300 Watt 10-Inch Powered Subwoofer .
I have never used this type of sub. I hooked up my sons 1800 watt kenwood and his 2 12" fosgate subs in his mustang and it rocks, but I really don't need that much base. I nthe summer the top is always down so security is a must, help me out guys and gals.
