|Jma20a||its only 1/4" larger, and i will help it keep a low tone so it doesn't sound like a rice burner|

|TXST8tj||bigger tailpipe is not always a good thing...especially on a 4cyl. you don't want to loose all your backpressure.|

i was just looking at this setup, it has a bigger tailpipe which is what i was looking for.

if you insist on a bolt on setup, the Dynomax super turbo package is a good deal @ $150.
i'm with Jerry though, mufflers are only $50-$60. you can actually reuse your stock tailpipe. unless it has rusted or broken off, there is no real need to replace it. $60 + $10 for a muffler shop to weld it on is a pretty good deal for what you're looking for.

I agree, to be honest a cat back system wont do too much for power, it might make it sound a bit cooler though.
By the way jerry your weather thing is angering me...73 degrees sounds unbelievably nice and hot right now....its suppose to be -3 here tonight
It was 45 here the other day and i felt like putting on some shorts and laying in the sun haha

|Jerry Bransford||Just go to a muffler shop, there is no reason to spend big $$$ for a muffler and fancy exhaust pipe and tip. I had to have a new exhaust installed on my TJ after installing a different suspension and it cost me $80 for a new Thrush muffler and exhaust pipe, including labor. Those cat-back companies are making a killing off Internet sales from people who don't know you can just go to a good local muffler shop and save big $$$.|

Well first off i checked out q-tec and they have a banks for 285 on there. Not sure if thats the one you were looking at or not.
There are a couple cheaper cat-back systems out there, heres the q-tec page with all of them...they might not have the best prices but its a reference: http://www.quadratec.com/products/pr...tems&c=73&pg=1
