97flexy nice looking tire swing/bumper, how much did it cost you total? Cost of steel? Cost of misc. parts?

Dont really have specs just built it as i went along, it is 58" long the main bumper is built out of 3/16 3x4 the d ring mounts are 1x2 with 1" holes the mount is built out of 1/4" plate as is the safety chain plate the carrier is thick walled 2x2 with a 1 1/16 spindle.

Bumper Design

hey I got all the tools and welders needed to build this and was about to start getting the specs of what I needed but after looking how good this bumper turned out was wondering if I could get your specs off you to save some time.

vancamp well mostly finished I still have a few things to do later but I got it on where I can drive it for awhile anyway. sprayed it with Black Epoxy primer and rustoleum bed coat.

TXST8tj I admire the shackles being welded all the way through, but especially all the way to the frame mounts. You don't see them being tied in like that, often.

Keenan I see what you did thar. It's nice to see those shackle tabs welded through, instead of simply placing them on the bumper surface. Great work.

yeah kinda I spaced it 2" out so if i wanted to add accessories later i would have a little room.
