JKBANDIT55 1.China wall. Its short, lots of places to play, and its always fun to catch some fish at teryall then cook em on the trail!

2. Mcllellan/argentine/waldorf. The river crossings can get deep! And I love the part of the trail the gets flooded and turns into a river so you drive down that for 1/4 of a mile! Also the hill climbs at the top are fun. Awesome views!

3.Left Hand Canyon before the fire!

Place was always fun to mess around at!

Well, I guess no one said just Colorado, on that route I'd vote for Omaha at rush hour.

In that venue my favorite is I35 south through Kansas City.

YJ325i I started trailin' last summer, I hit Rampart Range a lot as a teen on my bike, so went with what I know. Hit the Daiken road to rampart, ends in Rainbow falls. Nice starter trails, have to share some with the atv's and bikes though. Its all good. Am looking forward to meetin up with some other local's to explore more of the Rockies.

I'm new to Denver and to offroading but also not an idiot.

I was thinking about this one for my first one TrailDamage.com - Russell Gulch

But please give me suggestions if there's something better and close to Denver.. I'd prefer on the easy and non-dangerous side and I just bought this Jeep so don't want to scrape it up as of yet so minimal rock climbing and being new to the mountains I'd like a high scenery rating.

UnlimitedMatt Spring Creek is my current favorite, I was on it yesterday. Some say it is difficult but most hard sections have bypasses. And once you get to the top, you have many options to get down. The most scenic is going west and coming down into Georgetown.

I think for newer guys, the Central City area has alot of easy trails.

Hardcore4x4 I've hit Argentine and it's a cool close trip to Denver.

My fave: TrailDamage.com - Wheeler Lake

But heres a few links... keeping in mind that alot of trails are closed untill spring especially with the recent snowfall..

TrailDamage.com - Red Cone
TrailDamage.com - Webster Pass
TrailDamage.com - Hall Valley
TrailDamage.com - Santa Fe Peak
TrailDamage.com - Hunkidori Mine

These are just a very small handfull of great places to go stocker.....
hope it helps. Happy trails--Chad
