Scoob I dont have installed in my Jeep yet. But I wheel with several guys that do have the the switch set up in the dash. What I have learned from that is that when I install mine it will be near the driver side dash speaker someplace. Most mount theirs by the gear shifter or where the ash tray would be. I have seen this to be a pain in the butt place to reach when your standing outside the Jeep. You have to take your eyes off what your doing to locate and use the switch.

slf41002 The main leads will be hooked directly to the in soleniod and have jumpers runnin to the out soleniod. The quickest way to tell is the main feed to the winch motor will be hooked directly to the In solenoid

nicolas-eric ok thanks. iīll do it like you said.
now i only have tofind out which solenoid is for IN and which is for OUT...

slf41002 I would run the wires from were the connector wires hook to the solenoids and the 12V supply to the switch from the 12V main on the solenoid.

nicolas-eric i want to wire it up by myself. thats only a 5$ job...
i think i could mount the switch where your ARB compresor switch is located.
or besides the red warn power interrupt relay switch:

nicolas-eric the switch goes back in the center position when i take my finger off.
i also have a radio remote control for the winch. but i want an additional real switch in the inside.

slf41002 Is that a momentary switch???If not it will not work! You will want it to kick back off as soon as you take your finger off of it other wise you may not get your winch shut down quick enough and that is a very bad thing in most cases. Here is what I got with mine.It is remote control.

Winch Control Switch In The Dash?

hello.

iīm planning to install a switch like this to control my winch from the inside:

for that i want to put some additional cables at the rear of the 3-pole control-connector at the winch solenoid box. is that the right way?

did you install a remote switch for your winch in your jeep? how did you do that? pls post some pics.
