Glad I'm not the only one who's had that problem!

I too run Elemental Designs subs...I have their 11Kv.2's (10") in dual 2 ohm configuration. Looks like they're currently backordered...

Elemental Designs: Car Stereo, Home Speakers, Electronics

I need to get around to building me a new box and buying another amp...I miss having bass in my Jeep. My little Pyramid 6 1/2" sub in the console just doesn't cut it...

Jma20a I take that first one back. Yes he us right with a duel 4 or single 2. I assumed it was 1 ohm stable at 500 watts.

Jma20a And big names all you pay for is the name not the quality and power of the sub its self

Jma20a Duel 2 ohm load can be wired to 1 ohm for the full 500 watts not a duel 2 ohm load

Johnboy11 thanks for the input

I-Want-A-Jeep Whatever you get, make sure it's either single 2 ohm voice coil or dual 4 ohm voice coil.. Either of these can present a 2 ohm load to the amp in order to get the "full" 500 rms from the amp...

I run Elemental Designs... The suggestions that Jma gave are also excellent.. Personally, I stay away from the "big names" when it comes to subwoofers..

Jma20a Ssaudio.com has a store and sell some good entry level subs. The ssa dcon or icon. The incriminator audio 187 or lethal injection. Are all great subs built to perform and take a beating
