Been sellin em for years, figured its time I bought one!
I've been a member of many forums over the past 15 years or so and I always find it difficult to introduce myself, so instead I'll introduce what brought me here..
My wife and I love the Ozarks.. Have you ever been? It's absolutely beautiful territory! Starting in southern Missouri and continuing on like a creeping vine out into the plains of Arkansas, the Ozarks is a series of plateaus that are separated by the cracks and crevasses created when a hundred springs wear down the earth to the bare, craggy bedrock... Cool blue springs stocked with trout, deep river smallmouth during the winters and simply inundated with rock bass...
We also have one of the largest man-made lakes in the world, the Lake of the Ozarks.. Hundreds and hundreds of miles of waterfront created when we dammed up the Osage river, much to the chagrin of the natives..
As you can guess, a Jeep fits in very well around here. I've sold vehicles at a GM dealership for the last 10 years and we've had quite a few Jeeps come through... I was always impressed with their resale (a salesmans concern, of course!) but when this new body style hit the lot I must say I fell in LOVE!! (Don't tell my boss, please?)
Anyway, long story short I went off and bought the first year model of this new JK 2 door body style.. Not for me, but for the wife. (go ahead and kick me if you want, S'okay.. She's hot and deserves it!) She has a 1999 LS-1 Trans Am that just doesn't seem to wanna leave the garage during the winter...
So, here I am! Thanks for letting me ramble.. Oh, and (just so I can later remind you all that it was in the intro) My name really is Cricket.
