|Tank555||I am on my 3rd Jeep, and I never really knew what the "wave" rules were. But reading this thread has opened my eyes! I now wave at all Jeep Wranglers. I don't get many waves in return, but when I do, it makes me glad I own a Jeep. My only problem is, some of the freeway's here in So Cal, are so friggn' wide, that I can't always tell if the other guy is waving...|

Funny enough this whole wave thing is one of my favorite things about owning a jeep. Somehow it just brightens up my day when I take my TJ to work and another jeeper tips their hat. This coming from the world's biggest misanthropist.

|pepatrick||Lots of Jeeps out on the roads in north Forsyth county. Pretty good wave ration. I saw a couple that did not wave but most waved back today.|

I was driving through a parking lot in the rain and I noticed someone on the curb waiting to cross. Since it was raining I let him go in front of me, he nodded a thank you as he stepped off the curb then halfway across he looked at me and waved, I waved back somewhat confused, then he started laughing, pointed at a Jeep parked in the lot, gave me a thumbs up then ran through the rain to his Jeep still laughing.
I guess he's so excited to give the wave he momentarily forgot he was walking lol. I gave him another wave as I drove by, he was still laughing.

I've posted it before but the ultimate for me was when a guy driving a U-haul truck waved at me.
I was a little confused until I saw he was towing a trailer with a nice looking Wrangler on it.

|scukfan||I got a wave from a beamer yesterday. Either he forgot what he was driving or he wishes he was a jeeper!|

Much more dangerous is when you get your texts crossed. I sent something to a buddy but had just texted his wife. Oh $hit, sorry about that lol

I have a duel boot system with a 500 gig hdd, XP is on 100 gig and Linux is on the other, last night I was surfing with XP ( no idea why) and I got a BSOD, same old thing said it was dumping memory to the disk.
I ran every program that was recommended by TSF and there's nothing wrong, so I assume that one of two things is about to happen, (1) I'll remove all traces of windows and use Linux only ,or (2) my old T5082 is about to bite the big one

She does claim to do the wave when she's driving and sees another Wrangler. I suspect she misses a few.

|Dueeast||I've owned Harley's and Vettes, both have waves, and I can tell you, females drive with blinders on, they only see straight ahead. In fairness, not to many females drive Harleys or Vettes, but more drive Jeeps. I've even spotted my wife while driving and she doesn't notice me. I hope I didn't offend the small population of girls who drive jeeps here, I'm just stating my observations.|

It took me until tonight to figure out how in the heck to "fog light wave"
I have been going over this on a nightly basis since this post came out and just couldn't get a handle on how we could accomplish this.

Let me know where to get that led. I get distracted too and feel like a jerk when I realize my oversight.
