krbshappy71 I have a hair styling kit in my car. I look like hell when I arrive, fix my hair while in the drivers seat and walk in to work as if nothing happened.

At home I whip it up into a bun or "half up half down" pony tail while it's still wet, spray the heck out of it with hair spray and then I just have to do damage control once I get to work.

Granted my husband hasn't seen me with my hair down since we bought the jeep....ha!! Actually for date nights I do fix it and leave it down (it is long) and we take the van.

Once a week I do an oil treatment. The wind really dries it out.

The rainpocalypse that never was lol. Basically just a few showers my part of town.

Priscila_06TJ Amanda.....for the first time this year since I was a little girl I had to buy detangler...my hair was knotting up really bad and losing most of it when I would brush it. My jeep is my DD and I was doorless and topless while heading to work so jeep hair was a daily struggle...wat really cut down on wind was my safari top. Saw a huge difference. One of the other ladies in here suggested leaving a few hair bands on your shifter..you have thin hair so maybe like a skull cap, it's not the most attractive thing but it may work. Hats and caps your brave to wear doorless and topless, mine fly off. Sunglasses are okay until I decide to poke my head out and check my blindspot then poof they are gone. Lol on the ladies with perfect hair, in movies they show them going on highway roads and hair is perfect I'm like that's a lie.

I have thin hair and head bands usually give me headaches. When I go doorless I use a bandana folded up to be kinda thick, tie it over you hair, not under and it doesn't fly off like hats. I started buying a lot so they match my outfit, so when I get to work, I would put it on in a casual way, under my hair.

Boxcarwillie Wear the jeep hair like a badge of honor. Or bobby pins and a hair tie. With sunglasses. Might be a bit of extra work here and there. But it should cut down on knots

flowerfistandbestialwail Psssstt... this seems like a fitting place to ask about hair control. Mine's layered so the shortest layers come free almost no matter how I tie my hair back, and my bangs won't stay put in anything but a hat... but we get lots and lots of sun here (not the hot kind, the bright kind) and my head is too small to fit both sunglasses and a hat on my face. What do you guys do when your top and/or doors are off to keep from looking like Sasquatch when you arrive at your destination? My hair's also very fine and thin so I find flies around a lot more than ladies with thicker hair, who I enviously see riding with their windows down in ANY vehicle and not having issues with hair containment. Where as when my hair catches too much wind it just ends up very knotted and very limp... Help! Share your jeepher hair secrets with me!

Boxcarwillie Good morning ladies. Let the sun shine diwn on you all

krbshappy71 Well it started right up, I towel dried it and didn't touch the controls/radio etc at all, and after my lunch drive home the radio worked. That was 4 hours of open air and towel drying before using it. I think I'm good!

mommymallcrawler KRB, did the Cap'n get an evening shower?

We have rain on deck today and tomorrow and Thursday. Which I know is all my fault because I took the top and doors off lol. Daytime is no biggie because I am in a basement parking garage at work. At home I at least have a covered carport which will do ok unless its that seriously sideways kind of windy rain. I do have a huge tarp I can slap over the whole Jeep for torrential downpours and a smaller one if I just want to tarp the dash. One of the guys from our Jeep club was really nice and even offered to lend me an emergency top or his hard top.

My Lunatic spent all day on a plane yesterday and is in American Samoa now. I bet his Jeep is missing him! He sent me some cool pictures of the tugs they use to pull planes. Basically look like army tanks and can pull a whole jet, people and all!

Hubba hubba, nice naked Jeep!!

Skies are clear all week this week, woot!

RoseBud it's not just Colorado I assure you. If the news would shut up about them.. I swear it could be a toy poodle mixed with Pit and weigh 6 lbs and the news would say it was a Pit mix (not poodle mix) that bit the mailman. But I'll save that rant for another day. I love big dogs and my husband prefers small ones. Once my big babies are gone we agreed to only have Amelia no more dogs until she is gone. Then get one small one like her again and spoil the heck out of it again.

Jeepalicious Happy Monday all!!!

Rosebud - awwhh - we had a 120+lbs cane corso (Italian mastiff) - he was the best, most gentle, sweetest pup I ever had - big brother to our 12 lbs yorkie, died young (cancer) but no time & not enough hands to get another right now. I think 80 is about max for practicality (bathing, taking to vet etc)
09-15-2014 09:36 AM
Priscila_06TJ Morning RB he is super cute.

RoseBud13 Morning Ladies!
KRB; Yeah, but we call him a Boxer..Pits are a sore subject in Colorado right now, your either love em or hate em...
Priscila; No, I sleep in the middle, squished. We try to keep him at our feet.
Jeepalicious; He weighs 80lbs!

When we got him they told us he was a Boxer/Mastiff mix. That his father weighed 120lbs! He out weighs any Pit we have came across that wasn't built up. All his black markings are filling in, like a Mastiff. We have no clue what he is, other then an adorable lug!
