TJWenatchee I have close to 3" spring lift (2 1/2" but actually got a bit over 3"). Used the TC drop for awhile, never tried it with out one. Then wanted bigger tires. Install a 1 1/4" BL and a 1" MML. Removed the TC drop with no vibes up to 80 MPH (didn't want to go any faster than that). Now running 33"s.

Jerry Bransford For a standard Wrangler TJ, 4" of suspension lift height is generally the height when you really need to add a SYE and CV driveshaft. That height becomes more like 5" to 6" with an Unlimited since it has a longer rear driveshaft that is not affected by suspension lift height as much.

I feel ya brother. 3 inches isn't that crazy IMO.

GoldenSahara00 When you have driveline vibes resulting from too steep of a driveshaft angle. Usually results from anywhere from 2.5-3.5 inches of suspension lift and greater. Depends on the jeep. You will need the sye cv driveshaft and adjustable rear control arms to adjust the pinion angle.
