darkproximity Code 24 is "Throttle position circuit out of range", there are 2 sensors on your throttle body, the one its referencing is the one nearest the firewall.. You'll need to replace it as you cant fix it, but it will cause odd driving behaviors. Most people recommend going with an OEM replacement, IE. Going to your jeep dealership and buying them. I got mine from autozone, and so far so good, haven't had any problems.

Garyk #12 shows up if the connection to the ECU was broken such as disconnecting the battery. 33 is for the AC and if you don't have AC disregard it. If you are getting a cooling temp code, that could mean a bad sensor.

"Would a voltage on a wire be hot cause this?" I don't know what you mean by this...

Suggest you disconnect the battery for a few minutes and reconnect, run the jeep a day or so and check the codes again.

trail-n YJ Also it was showing 22 and 33 and I found those 22 was a cooling temp relay or circuit, and 33 was a air conditioning clutch relay? Have no clue what those are if it has anything to do wih air conditioning I don't have it soo?
