Wisconsin Off-Highway Vehicle Association (WOHVA)

The Wisconsin Off-Highway Vehicle Association (WOHVA) is a non-profit organization which focuses on recreational access to public & private properties while promoting safe & responsible motorized trail enjoyment. In April will be hosting our 8th Annual Wisconsin OHV Enthusiasts Workshops. This outstanding venue is a great way to become informed as to not only how the recreate safely, but to also learn where you can trail ride legally here in the Badger State.

WOHVA has access to the Mole Lake Indian Reservation outside Crandon, Wisconsin. Over the past 5 years we have developed a network of trails ranging from mild Jeep Trails to wild full size truck trails.

We host two trail riding events per year (Northwoods-Mole Lake Jeep Jamboree USA & Great Northern Trail Ride).

On weekends throughout the summer, WOHVA holds trail days. In 2012 we have 11 such dates scheduled. Trail days allow motorized enthusiats to access these trails without being associated with a formal event.

I encourage you to visit our website to learn more about WOHVA and what we can do together to improve and expand motorized trail riding opportunities here in the Badger State. Visit us at WOHVA.com

If you'd like to be added to our mailing list (and receive updates on all our great offerings) email your name, address, city, state & zip code to info@wohva.com

TonkaTruck2.0 You know while I was growing up in WI and offroading I would go on logging roads, dnr land or my favorite; land owned by paper mills. I lived in central WI and just used the county plate book for land references.

Maybe this info can help.

WI doesn't have to many organized public OHV trails but on the flip side they have so much open land/public land to explore.

Check out the jeep jamboree going on in Crandon, WI this summer.

O3jeep Unfortunately there's nowhere LEGAL to ride around here. Years back I was in a club based in Kenosha and we used to go up north to McCaslin Mountain in WI. I'm not sure if it's still open or not. Your other options are the Cliffs or the Badlands. I would suggest joining a club. They would be able to help with finding places to wheel and you would have someone there to help in sticky situations. DJ
