97Dustang I just did this last weekend too. I installed lights into the speaker bar and in the footwells and I love it! Your install looks great! I put my switch in the center console to keep it all discreet

Lilpest I should also note that those 5 amp fused power supply and ground wires also power my 2 7led spot lamps at the base of my windshield. With all interior lights and exterior spot lamps running wires stay nice and cold and have never blown the fuse. Everything is led so power consumption is minimal. If you run incadescent lights, a larger fuse and or wiring may be required

Lilpest I ran 5 amp fused 14 gauge power supply wire and 14 gauge ground wire from the battery through the firewall on the drivers side to the switches on the a pillar. From there I used 16 gauge power and ground wires under the dash in parallel to the lights in the front foot wells and center console. Also from the switches I ran 14 gauge power and ground wires underneath the drivers side kick panels under the carpeting to the 3 lights under the rear seats also in a parallel configuration.

If need be I can draw out a schematic but I'm not taking pictures of wiring right now cause it would be too much work. But I suppose if there are enough inquiries I may consider it

VASYLfromUKRAINE Can you provide some more details about wiring?

Lilpest Yea was thinking of running a potentiometer so that I can dim the lights accordingly but they're not too bad as they are right now

denisbaldwin I have a bunch of 12 volt green led rope lighting left over from another project.. I should see if I can add some interior lights that won't piss me off.

Cudda Looks good!

I saw these used as rock crawling lights for the outside of the jeep. Some people also put these inside. They are cheap and put out good light and are waterproof.

Guadzilla Looks great. For those of you who may just be installing a set of driving lights like I did, I just installed the switch right into the factory A-pillar. If you're not going to run too many switches you could save yourself some dough and not buy an aftermarket piece.

Lilpest Nope not a kit. Installed from scratch. 6 hyper LEDs bought at Walmart presetup for a 12volt application. Bought the 3 3led lights from princess auto along with all the wiring and switches. The rugged ridge a pillar pod bought off eBay. Costs Walmart LEDs $20. Princess auto lights, wiring and switches were $40. EBay a pillar pod $50 after shipping.

jkjeeper06 I like it a lot! Did you buy a kit? How much did it run you?

interior light install

Hey just installed 6 LEDs into my 2009 jeep jk unlimited to illuminate the center console and 3 3-led lights under the rear seats. All wired into a switch on my a pillar with the rugged ridge pod. What do you all think of my install?

Also thinking of suggestion for alternate light install options as I have several extra lights
