jpdocdave looks good. is it in and runnin? how do you like it, what compression is it running, witch injectors did you go with, i have some northstar injectors i robbed from an engine job i did, which i don't want to do again. i know mustang injectors are supposed to work. mine is going into a yj with 4.2 originally, i think i can just get the crank nose machined down and run all accessories from later 4.0. there's a lot to go into this, so tell me what ya think, and expereinced from doin it. i want to use 4.2 crank and rods, where did you get a wrist pin to connect 4.2 rod, to 4.0 piston, what cam did you run? i could probably go on, but finally someone that has some input on the stroker first hand is great. thanks

Not much to say either you get the nv3550 or the nv4500 its a personnel preference I guess. You already know as much about them as I do. For the engine I am the wrong guy to answer this question, you see what I did to my jeep. lol wish I could help more. Have a good one

YJ TRANSMISSION OPTIONS w/ STROKER

i'm building a stroker 4.2 crank and rods, in 4.0 going into 87 yj frame off, which obviously came w/ 4.2 not 4.0.
anywho, i'm thinking of the nv3550 trans, any input on this, i think the nv 4500 will be too expensive, i've heard that it is too large, and requires a lot of mod. t-18 trans is cool, but i want 5 speed, i want to wheel hard, but drive to work also.
any input on trans, and any info on the stroker would be nice to.
thanks
