XNeoJesterX Any one know a site were you can get covers with different things on them? Maybe along the lines of a Jolly Roger (aka Skull and CrossBones)?

dogsnhorses I put a cover on mine, ordered it from Jeepworld, did the gas cap thing too. I like the tire showing but my work location leaves something to be desired and it's a nice looking tire so I figured some looser would try to steal it, course now they'll just take the dang cover.

I put the locks on the tire for good measure. The guy where I ordered the cover said stolen spares is the norm if they aren't locked up well.

I didn't even think about putting it rotation, that makes sense.

simple question, simple answer. thanks.

i defintly like the look of the uncovored tire, but who knows when ill rotate em, might be every 5,000 like a good boy, or i might be a cheap-o and do it every once and a long while.

payj90 what did the dealer decide?

Scoob I bet you the salesman would change his tune if you tell him yes, you want the tire cover. But only if they are going to pay you advertising fees.
I told my dealer they had 2 choices. To either remove the dealer emblem from the back of my Jeep (without scratching it) or pay me 25 bucks cash a month to advertise for them.

whiteyj Even "IF" you decide to use one they can be had fairly inexpensively on the web without the logo's or at least a log of your choosing.

tire covers

do you really need them on the spare tire? my car salesman said it would prevent dry rotting but hes body language told me he wanted to shove a giant advertisement on the back of my car. rolling without a spare tire cover (long term) shouldnt be a problem would it? i plan on eventually putting it in the rotation when i get my tires rotated.
