New Member with 2005 LJ
My first vehicle was an FJ40 LC, not running and complete frame up restoration when I was 15 with my old man. I worked for the forest service for 15 years in the Sierras managing trails like Swamp lake and the Dusy Ershim. My daily patrol rig was an 88 YJ with Atlas case, air lockers, etc..
I just purchased my first Jeep after a 15 year break from wheeling, have owned nothing but FJ's until now. I found a 2005 LJ Rubicon with 13,000 miles and in perfect condition. To say the least I am excited as I feel this is one of the most competent off road vehicles currently offered in the US. I have found this forum to have a wealth of knowledge and in a short time have decided the best lift for me is the Currie/Savvy kit.
If anyone lives in the Monterey, Ca area drop me a line. Lets go!
