lovecheese You wouldn't imagine the looks I got when I brought my mustang to Paris. I had people paying to sit in my car. I actually felt like a baller! Mustangs are extremely common around the military base, but a few hours away... I was probably the only one in Paris that week.

Bizz Welcome! Its probably pretty crazy to see a Jeep in Germany. I have spent some months there over the last few years for work and it is rare to see a Jeep or a American truck.

lovecheese Thanks guys. I've actually been reading a bit in here and is it true that the 2012 is really that much better than the 11? I probably won't ever notice a difference.

Also going to be researching my first mod. probably exhaust/headers.

Hello From Germany

Hello everyone! Soon to be new owner of a 2011 Wrangler 70th anniversary edition. It's a 2D 4x4 soft top, manual 6 speed.

I am coming from a Mustang GT so it's a completely different world!

I pick it up from the aafees dealer in roughly 5-6 days. Until then I'm stuck driving a 1995 BMW 520i with a slipping transmission, no heater core and a bunch of other stuff wrong with it.

I ended up getting the jeep for 21K OTD. (no taxes since I'm stationed in Germany!).

I am almost 29, single and never married. Been in the Air Force as Air Transportation 10+ years and will be completing my psychology major in just over a year.

I am really looking forward to the jeep and modifying it to look even better. My first jeep.
