I didn't notice that particular rating index on the DOT or NTSHA indices rating system!!

Both are great tires !! I have ran them both 33 x 12.50 x 15, load rated C. I prefer the DT's due to my style of driving and wheeling, as well as the substantially lower un-sprung weight of the DT's. The KM2's will probably last longer, but hey, there is a tire store right down the street !!

If you can stand Buckshots, you can live with any tire !!

Most people use a 15x8 for tires up to 12.50 width. some people use the 15x10 wheels to make the tire look wider without having the bulging side look, and because they like that "deep dish" looking wheel. but the jeeping Guru's suggest not going with a 15x10, if you air down on the trail, you might lose the air tight seal between tire and wheel. and the 15x10s are heavier than a 15x8.

TJNewbie I don't think you'd really notice much difference from 32" to 33" on the hight, but 11.50 to 12.50 width does seem more noticable when parked side by side, almost the difference of a tire on a 15x8" rim and a 15x10" rim.

Yep, I agreed. Most run small.

But yes, most all tires measure smaller than advertised. Just part of their advertizing. If someone is curious to the actual size of the tires they are looking at, most companies will list the true size on their websites.
My 325/60/20 tires on my DMax measure 34" and the factory specs are 35.5. Most 33/12.50 tires I've seen are 32.5- 32.8. ( factory specs).

XJ Knight Offroad the KM2's will be better offroad while the Duratracs will be better on road.. But with that said The duratracs as long as you avoid pointy objects are fine offroad.. Lots of people are happy with them.. And on the same note the KM2's are fine on the road as well.. Even better if you have the center lugs siped..

TJNewbie Other than being in sharp rocks the I think the Duratracs will do better than the KM2s on and off road, mine clean out very well. Mall rated would cover tires like the Wild Peaks.

I'm not a particular fan of mud but i didn't get stuck in two feet of goopy mud. A F-250 with 37" Toyos and a 1500 with 35" toyos turned into slicks here but i imagine it has to do with weight

Jason1348 Only thing I can see that duratracks have over km2 is there cheaper mileage wise there both great duratracks are a at and km2 a mt and I rather have the mt

fabrikate_it Depends on what kind of trails you run honestly. If there are lots of sharp rocks you will want something with a tough side wall like the GY MT/R W/Kevlar for example.
