schirmyver For your dogs check out this thread for some ideas about covering the gap caused when the rear sear is folded forward.

http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/rea...er-135053.html

I have made something similar out of a piece of underlayment that I covered with black carpeting. When I know I will be hauling the dogs around I simply lay this over the gap. It is fitted well enough that it does not slide around at all.

My two big dogs like the extra room as it is a bit snug with them both crammed behind the rear seat.

cargo hoops

where did you find those?

strider_mt2k So far I haven't done much, but I was inspired to add 6 cargo loops to the hard top bolt locations.
They add more loops up higher to allow for more options when hauling stuff.

OH9JK Box to hold my tools from sliding all over the Jeep. Fits perfectly with the rear seat flipped forward. You can lock the box and bolt or strap it down for extra security.

Picked up at WalMart for around $40.00

ColdSRT I made high density foam plugs that level out the holes for my dogs. Have the canvas/fabric cargo cover over that. Covers entire rear cargo area including back of rear seats. They can still be folded or left up independently. Works great and has been tested thoroughly. Can return to stock in minutes.

I also have kilby rear cargo panels that square off the are over the wheel well. Gave me a great spot to mount a fire extinguisher and you can also add 12v outlets and other stuff to the panels. You can also tuck things in behind the panels from the rear door are to get stuff out of the way. I keep a roll of paper towels and gloves and crap stuffed in mine all time.

The raingler overhead net the JIMBOX mentioned is gonna be my next addition to give overhead jacket/other storage.

I also have a trailgater table on the tailgate that has provisions for a gas strut to keep the door open. No holes drilled and tons of flat clean space to cook off of or read maps etc. Costs though.

rics1997 I have changed seats (folding) but no updated pic. I had a mount made to lock into rear seat mounts with only a single seat to add room to the rear of the spacious 2dr. You would be surprised at what room you get. Plus I can tie down to the mount for the trail

From Chris at Kilby. He makes them. I love it. I tried to figure out how to make one myself... or have it made - to save money... but this turns out to be money so well spent. The back of my jeep is completely level (I have to transport framed art) and there's handy storage where the seats were. Definitely one of my fav mods. Go to the website > TrailBoss > Jeep > JK.

I'm seriously looking at the JK Cargo Panels too. At $125.00 they look like a great deal.

It's a bit like outfitting a boat. I spend a lot of time in my jeep traveling/camping/working...

JIMBOX I just use "Dirtbagz" for essencials

Raingler nets for overhead/cargo area storage, of coats/rain gear/towels and "Task Force rolling boxes for extended trips

Course I also have a hardtop rack and a trailer, so there's not much I can't carry

Dog bowls are rubber and they fold up, get stored under the floor kit (that has openings for reaching in to remove stuff if I don't want to open it up) Dog leash/extra ropes etc... attach to safari net with crabs.
