Frenz @ kbw wolfman.... "And, it would show up fairly well on a black spare cover if you outlined his antennae and eyes with a little yellow."

Broomecar I do beelieve that once I decide on a bee that I will look amazing buzzing around the neighborhood.

Frenz happy fat tuesday.. thanks for showin your Boo Bees.

as wolfman said "no matter the color of the tire cover (or jeep), you can always paint a different colored circle around the bee, to make it stand out more." Props to kbwwolf

every picture deserves a frame. Your border could be western or nautical rope (white, natural or even silver if you want a steel cable.) the bee goes on top of your shield.

any sign shop for a decal.. or the artsy airbrush guys at the mall could do this better.

If you're feeling froggy.. actually apply a physical rope border with sillicone and a few needle and thread points of attachment. the sillicone seals holes but don't know how well the craft would hold up to wind & weather. Rope holds up fine on a sail boat.

You're right. This poser's got nothin on Gladiator Bee.

Crazy drunken bees?

Angry midget in a bee suit? Not really feeling it, myself. Alas, this was in there with all the other bee stuff.

desertgoose Just a thought here, but yellow generally weathers faster. Might look a bit brown in a few years.

As I was scouring the bee art kingdom, it occurred to me that, no matter the color of the tire cover, you can always paint a different colored circle around the bee, to make it stand out more.

Speaking from years as a professional photographer, if your Jeep's dark, go with the yellow cover. If it's lighter, go with the black color. Unless it's chartreuse, or something...and then all the standard thinking is out.

desertgoose I think you should get the one with pink shades and shoes. People would know that you mean buzziness.

Buncha happy bees.

Um. Shades?

Dang! My bad my bad...but there's some truly horrendous bee art out there.

Some realism.

Broomecar DOOH I can't do that bee but it made is smile.
02-21-2012 12:24 PM
Broomecar I happen to like Metallica but "nothing else matters" to me right now. My Jeep is still not here seems "that day never comes" things just "fade to black" and yellow as I keep searching for a bee.
