Felsengleiskette yeah impact drivers saved my azz more than a time or two...on my motorcycle as well.

R.P.M. we had same problem with ALL the exterior torx screws...they are in with loctite
heated em with propare torch , came right out

That is called an impact driver. So called because you hold it in the screw head an impact (hit) the end of it with a hammer

jamie12 WD40 helped me. Put it on tonight and take the screws out tomorrow

Hubdeep Worse case, take a dremel tool and cut an X in it. Use a #2 phillips and copious amounts of PB blaster...

parrot head Take the correct size torx bit socket and when you put it in the bolt head give it a couple good taps with a hammer, then connect your ratchet and it should be easier to remove.

windshield bolts

I have went through three sets of the torx sockets trying to get these things loose and only about half of them have broke free. Is there an easy or better way to get these out? Im trying to put on my new mirrors and light bracket and cant get these stupid things loose!
