Nubby55 Crown should be OEM, There is only one "Original Equipment Manufacture", every then else is Like OEM!

kikdownz It appears that the manufacturer part numbers on quadratec match the manufacturer part numbers on the Omix website, so the ones on quadratec must be omix. Now, which is better Omix or Crown?

crafty I would be surprised if Quadratec has 7 different suppliers for a CAPA fender.
And since the poster is viewing a thread in Texas the shipping from Quadratec could be expensive and arrive damaged due to its size.

rebelBullDawg325 you can probably get either of them to price match the other.

JeepAddOns-Chris The ones Quad sells are from Crown, so yep.

kikdownz I Found crown replacements on 4wd.com for $25 more than the ones on quadratec. Are they going to be better than the ones on quadratec? Don't have a problem spending the extra money if they are going to be as sturdy as my OEM ones were. OEM ones took a serious beating and I would prefer something that strong.

JeepAddOns-Chris Keystone is a wholesale distributor and purchase from the same place Quad does except for their used parts division (one of which is right next door to us). There are only two companies out there that make OEM quality replacement fenders and that's Crown and Omix.

I will say that finding a good set of fenders that are completely rust free (especially behind the flares even if they look good on the outside) is nearly as likely as seeing a unicorn win the lottery while being struck by lightning. My Jeep was pristine before I started building it, but it still was bubbling up to my surprise when I took the factory flares off.

Jump all over Quad's price on that. That is a steal.

crafty Search for any Crash Parts supplier in your area and ask for a CAPA certified aftermarket fender you do not want a value or a budget line. Might be cheaper and save you shipping.

Not sure who else might be in your area but google Keystone Automotive Industries

Fender Question

Does anyone know if the OEM replacement fenders for sale on quadratec are as sturdy and durable as the original YJ fenders. I need to replace both front fenders and can't decide to try and find oem fenders off a original YJ or just order the new ones off quadratec. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Doug
