Remus_Redbone I wish I still had my PC 122. It was a great radio on SSB. It died many moons ago, the PLL chip fried. I have my Uniden Pro 640e mounted in more or less the same location in my '02 TJ, except it's angled toward the driver mounted on a PVC frame that is attached to the roll bar & footman loop. Yours looks good. I didn't see the antenna location.

Installed my Old Uniden PC122XL in my 2012 Rubicon!

Got the new Jeep last week and the 1st mod I am installing is my old ( 1993 ) Uniden PC122XL SSB CB. I looked at several mounting locations and the one that made the most sense and least amount of trouble was the one I saw from ProjectJK, so I started on the install. Pretty easy IMHO and it fits rather nice in this location. Running the cables is the hardest part of this install but well worth it. I still have a couple of things left to do but shouldn't be hard to finish.

So, what ya think?

The battery is dead in the Power Mic but that's no biggie to find. Still have to hook up my SWR meter and adjust it, get a quick disconnect and couple for the rear mount/cable

Oh and here's the Jeep!

I also have a Scanguage mounted there too that I took from my Corolla to see some of the stuff going on with the Wrangler, just of curiosity, not necessity! I'm sure some of you noticed that too!
