darkproximity if you take it out, clean it and plug it back in you can easily test it by pushing it with your thumb.. have someone look in the jeep and see if the lights coming on

darkproximity the switch probably isnt bad, just needs cleaned.. all it is basically is a ball bearing that gets pushed up and completes a circuit which turns the light on..

Kevbz I believe there is a sending unit on top of the transfer safe that goes bad for the 4wd light. Simply swap for a new one. Not sure on the axle lock
