my first tire lift was when i had the front sway bar discoed and i turned too fast and the slammed on the brakes and the rear inner tire lifted up. I like lifting the front tire more though as its easier and safer.

i like my bfg mt's but i think you can get cheaper tires that are just as good...
lifting a tire taking a corner too fast scared the crap outta me the first time too...kinda fun though.

|orange05tj||I know where the JD store is. My buddy lives over on Fan Hill Road in Monroe, right off 111. doesn't 110 end there?|

|4.0l sahara||Not to far from there if you follow rt 110 up and you will come to a johndeere store after awhile. I'm not far from there. Next summer my school can get me a job at Sikorsky and the pay starts at like 22 a hour. you know where jhones tree farm is? Thats my back yard.|

|orange05tj||I have no experience with bfg mt's. I have bfg a/ts now and happy with em. I run these to Stamford and Greenwich everyday and dont even see wear yet.|

|4.0l sahara||sound like a pro at tire lifting. Ya i'm going to keep the sways connected and this isn't the type of car that I would take the corrners fast in. Save that for another car.|

4.5" lift (more than 5" in real) and 30s will look very ugly.
i would install the lift and the 35s together.
you wonŽt like that everybody laugh about your long-legged jeep.
take a look at this website and youŽll see how funny it would look:

But yeah if you have both of ur sways connected and drive it with your head, you will be fine. If you disco the front and connect the rear, you can lift off the rear tire when turning very fast and stepping on the brakes at the same time. To lift up the front you gotta disconnect the rear sway bar and connect the front and then its very easy lift up the front left tire when making a left turn and accelerating as the engine torque helps the drivers tire lift up.

|4.0l sahara||okay. Pulling the tires off the ground would scare the shi** out of me.|
|03-16-2008 07:17 PM|
unless you're riding with your sways discoed you wont have problems. i had 6" on 30s and no problems and since rc is such a hard lift i did ride with both of my sways discoed with out a problem.. I was able to lift the front tires on turns since my rear sway bar is discoed. Well i can still lift front tires up even with my 3.5bs rims and 35s, i just gotta be going a bit faster or on sharper turns.

stock tires and lift.
Well I'll be buying the 4.5" re sf lift and will not have mony for 35's and gears right away. So I'll be cruising with the stock 30's Does having a lift and small tires make it lean alot in the turns? Alot of the roads around here are curvy and was woundering how it would handdle with stock tires. Tripp could answer this.
