Wonder if he knows duck fat is for cooking not for engines? (that's a REALLY expensive oil change too!)

Sierra8 As mentioned the Mopar filter is apparently a wix filter. If you're just looking for the standard OEM size filter the MOPAR filter is a very good choice and is almost always in stock.

countrybassist RP oil and filter.

Wharfrat Purolator PureOne or Wix/Napa gold.

I won't run anything else, unless in a pinch. And I would never use a Fram, ever.

then i proceeded to mesure my old oil. i came up with 180 oz. then i checked my odometer B ( i use this one to see how many miles between oil changes ) odometer B showed i went 5,900.7 miles since my last oil change and my engine only consumed 12 oz out of the 192 oz i put in,,, also i did not factor in the amount of spillage, and what i could not get out of the filter.
not too shabby.
Hi green

Didn't know about the the oil reminder.

Is that info on the manual?

thanks,
Charles

Isn't that sort of how the oil filter thing should be viewed? Less about brand and more about frequency? I might be wrong but it makes sense to me.
I just change it when I change the oil, that's frequent enough.

RedBones Puralator oil filter from Kmart, or Napa gold from Napa.
Puraltor filter is a dollar cheaper at Kmart then Auto Zone.
Mobil one full syn 5w30 from Walmart.

pdubois64 I called a couple of places and all I seem to be able to find is the Mopar and the Wix. Wix is cheaper, so Wix it is.
