brendend Sport with the center consol sub

2000jk Do you have a Rubicon with the center condole sub or aftermarket sub?

brendend i got our jeep with a aftermarket kenwood head unit and our sub isnt working, ive checked the fuse, taken the dash apart and looked at the wiring, the po decided to splice instead of getting a adapter, and saw the blue remote(power antenna) wire wasn't attached. looking at the diagram on this page im not sure what to attach it to. i tried the blue incase it was the obvious answer, no luck. then i tried lite green thinking since it was a 12v output that might be the remote wire, again no luck. has anyone solved this problem

I have 2-12s in my TJ and it sounds exactly like what you're looking for. The box is $40 and can be at your door for around $60

Also powering and finding a space for an 8" sub is much easier and lighter on the wallet I will not pay over 100 bucks for just a sub. 8" is plenty for the average person and plenty for a Jeep. Were not ridding around in huge suburbans or rolling around with silly lowered cars on 26" wheels trying to vibrate the trunk off.

There is a bass test on youtube you can use to see how nice the sub is working. Make sure you set it to the 1080p resolution.

Yes I'm setting it up right. I personally like heavy hitting hard bass. No such thing as bass giving me a headache, maybe some crappy highs not eq'd right. I'm not talking rap style boom bass, but hard heavy tight bass like a good kick drum. I like it when the kick drum in a song feels like I'm getting punched in the chest. Just my preference. Kinda like my home theater setup. When watchin a movie with a canon blast, I like to FEEL it, not just hear it.

Crazyflyingplastics pyramid makes a 6.5 sub for about 15 bucks. I used it in my last jeep when the factory sub was blown. Works great
